Solution
(3/7+3)*7 = 24
This was actually the basis of a game “24” that began in Shanghai in the early 1960s and became very popular in the 1990s to the extent that it became a game show. Many Chinese still play this game and that may, in part, explain why they are pretty fast with their mathematical calculations.
