How often can I take the TOEFL test? The TOEFL iBT examination is offered 4-5 times per month though it always advisable to ensure that you sit the test once having prepared properly. Besides it becomes costly and time-consuming sitting the test on multiple occasions.
When should I register for the test? You should register 3-4 months before your application deadlines so that you firstly ensure a place and most importantly you have the time to re-sit it if your results are not those required by the university to which you are applying.
How long does the test last? The test lasts for four and a half hours and you should arrive at the venue half an hour earlier.
When will I receive my results? Your scores will be posted on the TOEFL website approximately ten working days after you have taken the test. You may receive them by entering your ETS ID number and clicking on ‘view scores’.
