SAT Mathematics Level 1&2

This is a rather prickly question to answer. As the SAT Subject Test Mathematics Level 2 is generally taken by strong mathematics students the bar is raised commensurately, and so the average score is proportionally higher, currently at around 710/800. A respectable score in the SAT Subject Test Mathematics Level 2 mathematics is typically more than 750, and anyone who has appreciated the test and has a notion of the scoring will appreciate that such a score is indicative of high pre-college standard of mathematics. In the case of SAT Subject Test Mathematics Level 1 the scoring is more symmetrically distributed though there is the caveat that the Level 1 is considerably easier than Level 2 and is not necessarily considered a valid SAT Subject Test at many of the more highly ranked universities.
