If you like designing chairs, bridges, skyscrapers, houses or even gardens, and think that you have a talent for it, then you should definitely think seriously about studying architecture or architectural design. Architecture is a notoriously demanding degree that involves both theoretical and practical aspects. However, if you have that yearning to plan, draw, design and create then architecture is certainly the degree for you and one that you will find immensely satisfying, rewarding and fulfilling. Architecture is unlike many other degrees in that it is vocational: someone who studies architecture at university knows that he or she wants to become a practicing architect in some form in his or her future career.

We will conduct a free 30-minute introductory online meeting via the AGF Tutoring platform. During this meeting we will get a clear idea of who you are, what you want to do and where and therefore suggest what preparation you will require. If you agree to our suggestions, then you will be prompted to proceed to Step 2 for which there is a fee of 500 USD.

STEP 2

We will ask you to submit as much of your art work and design as possible so that we can ascertain your potential. Your work will be scrutinized by some of our experienced practicing architects as well as our tutors. They will give their honest and objective opinion as to your strengths and realistic potential. Once this has been established then a structured preparation programme can be set out. We will send all the reports and the proposed preparation programme to you. If you agree to our proposal, then you can move on to Step 3.

You will want to meet the tutors and/or consultants before you actually start your preparation process. This will be carried out online via free 30-minute introductory sessions. If you are happy with the assigned tutors, then you will be prompted to pay the fees for your first cycle of tutorials.
