Alastair Fisher

Alastair Fisher is the Founder, Managing Director and Head Tutor of AGF Tutoring. With more than 40,000 hours of tutoring under his belt, Alastair is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about all the various university entrance examinations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as the tutoring requirements of school age pupils, including for entrance examinations and GCSE, A Level and IB. His track record reflects his success over the last 25 years.

Drosos Kourounis

Drosos Kourounis

Drosos Kourounis is AGF Tutoring’s Chief Technology Advisor. Drosos distinguished himself from an early age by winning the Gold Medal for Mathematics in Greece in 1995, and then representing Greece in the Mathematics Olympiad in Toronto (1995). He received his first degree in electrical and computer engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2000 and his PhD from the Department of Material Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, in 2008. From 2009-2011 he worked as a research scholar on optimal control techniques for the Smart Fields Consortium of the Department of Energy Resources Engineering, Stanford University, USA. Since 2012 he has been a Senior Researcher with the Institute of Computational Science, Università della Svizzera italiana, Switzerland. His research focused on simulation and optimisation of intercoupled multi-energy carrier systems, smart grids, and PDE-constrained optimization. Drosos’ expertise is truly wide-ranging and profound, allowing him to move effortlessly from one area to another. In November 2018 he joined NEPLAN as optimal control and power system optimisation engineer.

Jason Kouchak

Jason Kouchak

Jason Kouchak is one of AGF Tutoring’s Education Advisors. A well-known and celebrated composer, pianist, and songwriter, Jason has a fervor for inspiring the younger generations to involve themselves in education, especially via games such as chess, which has been and continues to be one of his unwavering passions. He has successfully encouraged children of all ages to involve themselves in both chess and music. At AGF Tutoring, Jason is always keen to proffer alternative ideas as to how pedagogy can be imparted most efficaciously and, most importantly, through the joy of learning and entertainment. Jason is Head of the Online Chess Initiative.
